However you found yourself here, I thank you for taking the time to view my work. My name is Rob Arold, and I am from just outside of Washington, DC. Though I work in banking and financial services, my passion lies in the world of photography.

Still an amateur, I am grateful to have already put my skills to good use, capturing senior portraits, proposals, weddings, maternity portraits, newborn portraits, and world travel. My current areas of focus — yes, pun completely intended — are astrophotography, long exposure, and retouching.

I am married and live in Manassas, Virginia with my wife and two rambunctious dogs, who are photogenic and always willing to pose for treats.

My future in photography are my greatest unknowns; my dream is simply to tell stories through the lens on my Canon.
